"The Best of Berties"

"The Best of Bertie's"
18" x 18"
Oil on Wooden panel
SOLD

Here is the first of the smaller pieces I'll be doing for the Gallery show. This is only 18" x 18" and considerably smaller than my usual paintings, I've enjoyed working at this size but looking forward to working large again. I've wanted to do the Bassett Allsorts for a while and thought they would be perfect to start off the smaller painting's I'll be doing along side the larger ones for the show at the end of the year.

Sweet And Swirly

"Sweet and Swirly"
24" x 24"
Oil on wooden panel
SOLD

Here is the latest painting titled "Sweet and Swirly"I decided to go for a slightly smaller panel as I thought it would allow me to paint a little faster than I normally do but i completely underestimated how difficult and complex it was going to be to paint the plastic wrapping, but a little patience and perseverance I feel I managed to achieve a good effect.

Here Is a promotional poster for "Sweet and Swirly" created by my gallery Warwick Studios.

We are getting ready for a small showing of my works at the end of the year There is five confirmed paintings so far and I hope to produce at least another five,  I'll be varying the sizes also which will obviously affect the ranges In price so If the bigger paintings are a little out of your price range you could still own a quality piece of original art work.

"Chips for Tea"

"Chips for Tea"
40" x 20"
Oil on wooden panel
SOLD

Here Is the latest painting titled "Chips for Tea" I really enjoyed painting this piece, as you can see it follows on with the theme of branded everyday items painted to achieve a contemporary still life. I've wanted to do the tomato ketchup bottle for some time as I love painting with red and thought it would look really striking in a painting, for the composition I wanted to include something that would allow there to be a link with the ketchup and what better than some chip shop chips!

Rather than just having the chips sat next to the ketchup I wanted to have it a little more quirkier and so kept the Ketchup bottle as the main item and just had the hint of the chips to the left side of the piece with one dominant chip meeting nose to nose with the neck of the bottle.

This piece is available at Warwick Studios
